Still Doing it?
Thought I would check in and see how everyone is doing. It's been awhile since I posted. My first "outdoor" triathalon is April 16th so I am approaching the date for the race. I am excited about it, yet nervous. This will be the biggest endurance thing I have ever done. This is a Sprint Tri so it is a 400 meter swim, 12.8 mile bike, and a 3.1 mile run. I've been working hard and I know I will be able to do the entire thing without walking. I am curious to see how fast I do it. I've also almost hit my goal weight. I stepped on the scale this morning and weighed in at 143lbs (add 3 for the doctor which is 146). I set my goal for 145. Its a great feeling and I just bought a new swim suit. Pink! Mike is not sure what he thinks about it but once I put it on, he said it didn't look too bad. I see my nutritionist on April 11th and will start adding more food to my diet which I am very excited about. I should be able to treat myself once a week and not worry about gaining the weight as long as I keep exercising. I just wanted to encourage everyone to keep it up. If I can do it, anyone can. We just have to have the right mind set. I think signing up for this race was the best thing ever.
